IV Science Fair in the Carpe Diem school
To finish our project, we celebrate the Science Fair coinciding with the last meeting of the international Erasmus+ team in Fuenlabrada.
In this fair we showed different works done during the development of the project and invited other schools to participate with us in the experience.
The authorities of the city council came to visit us enjoying the different activities with the students.
We were also visited by Felipe Gómez, from the Astrobiology Center, talking with the Erasmus group about current research on the possibility of life on Mars.
Families, neighbors and teachers and students in the area had the opportunity to meet our project.
Out of the Dark. The Play
In the last learning, teaching and training activity all the Eramus+ team enjoyed the wonderful work done by the Italian team. Our Erasmus Play.
This work summarizes most of our project, mentioning the activities carried out during these two years.
The meeting of the two protagonists who begin the play reproduces the journey of the Little Prince, then take us hand in hand to know Galileo and its process, the construction of instruments to observe the sky and other activities that have been part of our adventure.

Out of the Dark, The Show
For the final dissemination of the project, Istituto Casimiri organised an event in its Observatory on August 7th 2019. The local community was invited to observe the sky at night and to know about the results of the project. The students showed the audience all the activities carried out in the two-year project and the results obtained. People were able to see the instruments built by the students (Galilean telescopes, sundials, quadrants), the pictures taken during the meetings and the moon observations, the reports about Constellations and Myths, the scientific essay, the astronomical dictionary, the play, and the Erasmus + corner which summarizes everything.
The students said that, thanks to this project, they better understood the connection between theoretical and practical study and realized products that are the concrete image of their own experience. At the same time they realized the importance of “the dialogue” between different cultures thus becoming active promoters of the value of the European citizenship.

Glossary Out of the Dark
We conclude our first part of the vocabulary for the project after doing an excellent team-work using the drive to complete a multilingual table. Later, we have developed an interactive glossary with genial.ly, which allows us to share the work with all the people interested in Astronomy.
At the beginning of the project we also learned to manage coogle, another tool that allowed us to make a conceptual map with these terms.

Astronomy in our countries' culture
In the second part of our Erasmus+ project, every national team have made presentations to show the contribution of scientits, explorers, navigators, and artists to the progress of Astronomy.
We have enjoyed them during our meeting in Gualdo Tadino, and we want to share this work with our School Communities.

Total eclipse of the Moon.
Beautiful night to observe the sky with our telescopes or simply with binoculars.
The total eclipse gave us wonderful images for our Erasmus+ project.
